How to integrate Woocommerce with Trackmage

This article will guide you on how to connect your Woocommerce store with TrackMage to fulfill your orders and track shipments - no coding or technical knowledge is required to complete this integration.

Using Woocommerce and TrackMage integration, any order you create on Woocommerce will be synced automatically with your TrackMage account.

For this integration, you need:

  • A Woocommerce account with admin-level access

  • A TrackMage account with admin(read and write) access

With this guide, you will: 

  • Install the Trackmage plugin 

  • Authorize TrackMage to connect with your store

  • Test the installation: Fulfill orders and track shipments

  • Troubleshoot technical errors 

Method 1: Install TrackMage on Woocommerce

  1. Login to your WordPress admin portal/dashboard.

  1. On the left navigation dashboard, select  Plugins > Add New.

  2. Search for Trackmage at the right-top corner. From the search results, click Install Now.

  3. Click Activate to activate the plugin.

  4. At the top of the page is a banner telling you to start the installation wizard. Click on the text start the configuration wizard to configure TrackMage. You will be redirected to TrackMage.

Or Method 2: Integrate Woocommerce on TrackMage

You need to authenticate your Woocommerce account with your TrackMage account.

  1. Login to your TrackMage account. 

Note: If you don’t have a TrackMage account, follow/use this guide to create an account in minutes.

  1. On the left-side dashboard, click Automations > Integrations 

  1. Click Add Integrations and select Woocommerce. 

Generate API Key

  1. Create an API key for your Woocommerce store. Click on your Profile Avatar > Settings.

  2. Select the API Keys tab

  3. Enter your App name and Url and click the Generate API key button.

Note: App refers to your store. In other words, Store name and Store Website.

  1. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret from the generated API key and paste onto the screen. Click Next.

  1. Select a TrackMage Workspace and click Next. You can also create a new workspace.

  1. Select the order statuses you want to sync with Trackmage and the start date of the synchronization. Click Finish.

  1. You have completed all the steps in the installation wizard, you will be redirected to your Woocommerce/WordPress dashboard.

Voila!! You have successfully integrated Trackmage with your store. Let’s go fulfill your orders and track your shipments with Trackmage.

Test the Installation

  1. Create a new order on Woocommerce. On the left navigation dashboard, click Woocommerce > Orders > Add Order.

  1. Proceed to check your Trackmage dashboard. Filter the grid by Order status: Processing.

You can see the same order here on TrackMage, the synchronization works as expected.

How can I update/change/edit the synced statuses?

You can always update the statuses on your Woocommerce account. On your admin dashboard, navigate to Woocommerce > TrackMage > Settings.
