To create a custom email notification in a different language, you will need to select the conditions and a triggering event.
There are seven types of triggering events in TrackMage: Search from the Tracking Page, Package is created, Package is created +X days, Package is available for pickup, Package is delivered, Package is delivered +X days and Package is shipped.
Search from Tracking Page: This email is going to be triggered when your customer enters their email into the search bar on your store's tracking page. For privacy data protection we only send the link to the email that got entered if there is a parcel(s) from your store associated with that email.
Package is created: This email is going to be immediately triggered when the shipment is created without adding a tracking number. This is useful when you need to inform your customers as soon as possible about their order readiness for shipment. Note, that the Tracking page will show the order with No-Info tracking data till the tracking number is added.
Package is created +X days: This email is going to be immediately triggered with the pre-setup time delay from the date the shipment was created without adding a tracking number. This delay allows for the processing time required before notifying customers, ensuring that they are informed at an appropriate stage in the order fulfillment process.
Package is shipped: This email is going to be triggered when the Tracking Number transitions from No Info status to any trackable status. This is the time when the parcel begins its journey to the customer. Special notice about imported data: The emails are only sent about parcels that transitioned to this status within the last 7 days from the time they were entered into the system.
Package is available for pickup: This email is going to be triggered when the Tracking Status changes to Available for Pickup or Unsuccessful delivery attempt. This is the time when your customer has to either contact the courier or visit their local post office to collect the package. Special notice about imported data: The emails are only sent about parcels that transitioned to this status within the last 7 days from the time they were entered into the system.
Package is delivered: This email is going to be triggered when the Tracking Status changes to Delivered. Typically this is the best time to ask for a customer to leave a review and share their experience with your product and the delivery process. Check out the article on how to obtain reviews directly from the Tracking page. Special notice about imported data: The emails are only sent about parcels that transitioned to this status within the last 7 days from the time they were entered into the system.
Package is delivered +X days: This email is going to be triggered in the pre-setup time delay from the date the shipment was delivered, allowing customers time to use the product and reflect on their experience before providing feedback. This strategic timing increases the likelihood of receiving genuine and insightful reviews. Special notice about imported data: The emails are only sent about parcels that transitioned to this status within the last 7 days from the time they were entered into the system.
Step 1
Log into your TrackMage account, click the Automation tab, and go to the Emails page. To proceed to the addition of notification, click the + Add Email.
Step 2
Choose a title for notification, which can be anything that you and your team can understand.
Next, go to the fields to select the conditions. As a condition, you can choose anything from the drop-down list. Your email notification will be sent based on the selected triggering event.
For example, now we select Destination Country = Spain as a condition, which means that when the Destination Country value matches Spain, this email is going to get sent instead of the default email, so all customers whose parcels travel to Spain are going to get emails in Spanish.
Click on the +ADD button to confirm the and automatically proceed to edit the notification.
Step 3
You will automatically be redirected to the page for editing email notifications. You can replace the default email text in Subject and Body with the text in the customers' language.
The templates with +X days delay emailing will have the Schedule delay field, where the period can be set up.
Also, don't forget to replace the default tracking page with a new one in your customer's language. See here How to Create a Tracking Page and How to Change the Tracking Page Language.
After you finish editing, complete by clicking the Save button. Activate the template by switching the toggle ON.
The created notification can be found in the Automation tab on the Emails page. If necessary, it will also be possible to disable or edit it.
